This is the first in a series of "passport photo's" I am going to complete. I have shot this with a flash direct on the face, and then increased the contrast and made the image borderline high key to give a kind of surreal feel. I am not sure if I will superimpose the gif over all the portraits or maybe use something different. I'm going to be shooting a lot more of these over the next few days so any comments would be appreciated!

I think this is a very interesting project, the image looks good, it is very simple lighting but that does suit. I like the idea of the overlay, but also do some research into face recognition technology as this is being widely used by security and with passports, i think that could be interesting.
