Simplicity is sometimes best

At the moment I am very into the "BIG" shot, you know , building the set etc. having lost of people involved etc. ...but I want everyone to realize this is what "I" am into, it doesn't mean it is for everyone. Portraiture is about portraying a person, an emotion or even a concept...it can be done in a big annie leibovitz, gerory crewdson sort of way or it can be simple, more intimate nan goldin....or the beautiful B+W's of Robert Mapplethorpe.....

Portraiture 202 is about YOU finding your voice, your way of communicating, your style, you don't need to do what I do, I want to see your thing, the way you see....

I don't want anyone to think that just because they don't want to , or like building sets or doing big shoots that they are in anyway at a disadvantage. I love portraiture, I am passionate about portraiture....in all its different styles. It's only recently that I have become interested in the "BIG" type shot....below are some images I did from an exhibition I did, Picturing Community: Ugunja, Kenya (see the website for the rest)
