'Saint James'

Here are a few portraits I took of a band called Saint James. With these I wanted to get in tight because I wanted it just to be about the face. I've seen this band once before and I thought they were quite interesting characters in their own right but as a dynamic were something different. I set up the lights in their rehearsal studios and asked them to come out individually from their rehearsal. I then positioned them and just started smalltalking with them (not shooting), I then hit them with various questions that required some thought and got these responses ( I shot with a remote control). It might just be me, when these are big on my screen I sometimes just stop editting and look at them because they're interesting faces - or maybe it's just because I know what they could be thinking. Any thoughts?
